Laos Trip

I took these pictures on a trip to Laos, during March 2015. The scenery is breathtaking and besides its many natural wonders, Laos has some amazing towns, like Luang Prabang, the capital of the province of the same name in northern Laos, lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers. It’s known for its many Buddhist temples, including the gilded Wat Xieng Thong, dating to the 16th century, and Wat Mai, once the residence of the head of Laotian Buddhism. The old town centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
