“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” – Dorothea Lange.

In 2017, I traveled through Myanmar, carrying back a handful of images that remain vivid memories of the journey. Sunrise over the temples of Bagan, fishermen moving with balance and precision on Inle Lake, and the quiet rhythm of daily life in villages and markets all became moments frozen in time.

These photographs are not a comprehensive portrait of Myanmar, but fragments of what stayed with me — landscapes of devotion, encounters with people, and glimpses of a country layered with beauty and resilience. They remain reminders of how travel photography preserves not only what we see, but how a place makes us feel.
